The newspaper collection includes a large collection of Canadian and international current newspapers as well as an extensive collection of newspapers dating from the early 17th century.

Google News Archive (click here) 

    Google has scanned hundreds of newspapers from Microfilm.  Some duplicate those held at Media Commons.  Note: further development of this service is currently suspended.
